James Lewellen, municipal management consultant, joined MTAS in August 2024. Prior to joining MTAS, he served as the town administrator in Collierville for more than 15 years. He also worked as an assistant city manager and city planner in Germantown. Lewellen has a bachelor's degree in education and a master's in public policy and public administration from Mississippi State University.
