Abstract: If your municipality has a sign ordinance that was adopted more than 10 years ago, it is past time to review it. There is a good chance that it is unconstitutional. In 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court issued an opinion that dramatically changed the standard for evaluating sign ordinances under the First Amendment.
