Responding to rapid change in libraries : a user experience approach / Callan Bignoli and Lauren Stara.

Constant change is nothing new, but we are living in a time of accelerated change. Libraries, despite their traditional image as history's gatekeepers and preservationists, must continue to evolve quickly in response to technological and cultural developments. Bignoli and Stara were wrapping up the manuscript for this book in May 2020, well into the global health crisis of coronavirus. They examine how libraries can stay ahead of rapid technological change-- and changes brought about by COVID-19-- while increasing service expectations with the strategies, tools, and holistic understanding presented in this book. -- adapted from Introduction.
