Public safety for residents with disabilities from my perspective / Leonard Matarese.

Abstract: A personal point of view of being one of the 42.5 million Americans with a disability and how to better understand the challenges that local government public safety faces in assisting this population. Some communities are are utilizing volunteers to enforce the municipal codes and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements in order to maintain public safety and right of way for this population.
