Abstract: When local governments partner with universities in their area, it's a win-win for all involved. The purpose of this article is to provide examples of a variety of different partnerships with cities and counties. It will also focus on how to develop a partnership and explain what factors and conditions can lead to a more successful and mutually reciprocal partnership.
