There are four characteristics that make up a strong password:

        •        At least one numeric character (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0)
        •        At least one special character (/, [, -, =, +, !, #, $, etc.),
        •        At least one lowercase character (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, etc.)
        •        At least one uppercase character (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, etc.).

Your new password should use a least three of them. For instance, M2caw&cd is good because it uses all four characteristics; m2caw&cd is also good because it uses three of the characteristics but mtcaw&cd is not good because it only uses two.
