Fire station location study for the city of Goodlettsville

MTAS conducted this fire station location review at the request of Fire Chief Kenneth Reeves on behalf of the City of Goodlettsville. The city is in portions of both Metropolitan Nashville-Davidson County and Sumner County located in Middle Tennessee. Fire protection and staffing is a local policy issue, and a community must balance local resources against acceptable risk. The Goodlettsville Fire Department is a career fire department recognized by the State of Tennessee. The department is supported and funded through the annual budgeting process and operates from one fire station for the 14.49 square miles within the city limits, protecting a population of 17,789 people.
