City of Johnson City departmental reorganization study

Johnson City City Manager Pete Peterson requested The University of Tennessee Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS) to study the feasibility of combining several development related departments and divisions into a new department. Interviews were conducted with City Manager Pete Peterson and key staff. Current organizational structures for the departments listed above were reviewed. Website information for each department listed above was reviewed. Other cities in Tennessee and out-of-state were consulted.
