Good Tuesday afternoon MTAS,
Welcome to the week of the MTAS retreat! I am so excited to see you all in Franklin at the Drury Plaza on Thursday. The committee (Richard, Kay, Sarah, Dawn and Wes) has really worked hard to put together a terrific agenda for us. In case you need another copy, I’ve attached the latest agenda. Here are three other announcements regarding the retreat: (1) Please pack your shampoo and soap so that you can contribute your hotel toiletries to James Moore. James is the custodian in the Knoxville office and he makes an annual mission trip to Nicaragua each year. Let’s spread the love of MTAS to Central America! I’ll have a backpack/bag at the conference to accept your donations. (2) Also, don’t forget that we’ll have the annual MTAS group photo in our newly branded MTAS gray polo shirts on Thursday afternoon. Gray should “go” with just about any solid pant or skirt color so I hope this doesn’t cause any distress to those worried about matching. (3) Finally, please don’t forget to bring and wear your nametag.
We had a lot of work anniversaries that I’d like to celebrate from last week: Steve W. and Gary on the first, Chris on the second, and Nancy on the fifth. Collectively, this group has 59 years of MTAS experience – how cool is that?! Also last week, Steve C. celebrated a birthday on the fifth. Happy Birthday Steve! I hope your last year was amazing and that the year ahead exceeds the last.
Last week was a short work week. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your day off on Monday. A short work week equates to a short Mustard this week. Please, please, be safe as you travel to Franklin. See you on Thursday!
