One solution to the frequent abuse of 911 is through expanding the role of paramedics to perform more than emergency response in programs called "Mobile Integrated Healthcare-Community Paramedicine" (MIH-CP). This article is intended to provide municipal law practitioners a broad overview of the legal issues regarding the provision of MIH-CP.
