For staff that used UT vehicles from the Knoxville motor pool, there will be major changes coming on use of the fuel cards:

1. Your current Voyager fuel card will stop working around December 15 th , 2015.
2. The new fuel card (Wex) will replace the Voyager card and will soon replace the FleetOne and Rogers cards.
3. The PIN # for the Wex card will be your six digit personnel number. It will no longer be the vehicle number.

We just received 1200 roadside assistance and replacement fuel card packets for the entire UT fleet. These new fuel cards will eventually replace all 3 of the cards that you are used to currently. The activity cutoff for the Voyager card is tentatively scheduled for December 15 th , 2015. After that point, YOUR CURRENT VOYAGER FUEL CARDS WILL NOT WORK. You will be issued a single card (a Wex fuel card) for all purchases. These Wex cards will also allow for small purchases for vehicle related items similar to the Voyager card now. The PIN #s to activate the fuel cards is now the driver’s personnel number.

While the Voyager card will be the first card replaced by Wex, both the FleetOne and Rogers cards will be deactivated when our onsite fueling station is updated with a new fuel card reader. The cutoff for FleetOne and Rogers cards is scheduled for January 4 th . After that point, the only card that will be operational is the new Wex fuel card. YOUR CURRENT FLEETONE AND ROGERS CARDS WILL NOT WORK.

I know several of you will not be in the Knoxville area within the next few weeks. If that is the case, please email
fleetmanagement@utk.edu
, and let us know the vehicle number(s) and the address where we can ship the card(s). If you are local, you should be able to start picking up your new fuel card towards the end of the week. The Wex card will be active and ready to use. As soon as you receive the new card, we ask you to stop using the older cards. After you have made a few purchases with Wex and have not had an issue, we would ask that you mail us the old cards.

Please see attached for a memo describing the new fuel cards, roadside assistance provider, and other news from our director, Cris Taylor.

Swapping these fuel cards is going to be a major project for us and we appreciate your assistance and patience. If you have any questions, feel free to call us at 865.974.2134.
