* Surveys and Calendars We've enclosed the latest library telephone surveys and the calendars for December and January.
IPS Annual Conference The IPS annual conference for 1994 will be on October 6 & 7 at the Park Vista Hotel in Gatlinburg. Please mark your calendar.
* Sales Tax Sales tax receipts continue to look good. So far, we are $39,000 ahead of last year and $22,000 ahead of our budget projections.
* Citizen Surveys We have Carol, Joe, Pat, SharonF and Armintha to thank for a new policy for us to follow for citizen surveys. It's a service we've offered for some time; now we are organized better.
* Municipal Research & Services Center Carol and I made a benchmarking trip to Seattle to visit our closest counterpart. We've put what we learned in this report. Much of what we learned can be applied to MTAS.
