Good afternoon, fellow MTASers.

I’m really happy to tell you that Stephanie Allen accepted our offer to become MTAS’s Legal Program Manager yesterday. Her new responsibilities commence on November 1 st . Along with the program management activities, Stephanie will also supervise the work of an administrative coordinator in the Codes section. The coordinator position is another piece of the organizational plan.

Stephanie has served all of us well as she guided the Codes function over the past few years and it’s a great indication of how we expect our legal and codes activities to move forward with her guidance. I appreciate her willingness to place herself in position to take on this assignment and I look forward to all of us supporting her in her new role. Thanks, Stephanie, for stepping up!

Since I mentioned it earlier, I’m also happy to tell you that Kelley Myers has accepted our offer to become the Administrative Coordinator in the Codes section. Kelley is a UT-Knoxville graduate and has served as a paralegal in a Knoxville-based law firm since 1994. Kelley will be joining MTAS effective November 1 st .

There are a few more pieces in our organizational plan to be implemented and progress is being made on them. I’m very appreciative of the interest and commitment many MTASers continue providing other staff members in the recruiting and interviewing processes that are occurring relative to these positions. Your contributions to the processes are recognized and appreciated. Thank you!
