Campus Chest - Thanks to everyone for participating and especially thanks to Armintha for coordinating the campaign and the collecting all those pledge cards. We all deserve a round of applause and a standing "O" for Armintha. And, just think of all the people who will be helped with our donations.



Boss's Day - Thanks to Armintha, Linda, Nancy, Sandy, Dedra, Jennifer, Yana, and Tess (who was there in spirit) for the fantastic spaghetti lunch Monday in the Knoxville office in honor of Boss's Day. Some of us are sort of bossy and some of us aren't, but in any event, we all appreciated the lunch!

President Petersen - UT President John Petersen is scheduling a series of meetings with state legislators. He's starting in the areas where UT has campuses. We've been asked to invite several Mayors to each meeting. The Chattanooga meeting was last month. Memphis is October 31 and Martin is November 2. MTAS will be ably represented by Ronnie in Memphis and David in Martin.
