Fellow MTASers,

I’m happy to let you know that Chris Shults will be joining MTAS as Benchmarking Coordinator. Chris fills the vacancy created when Sarah Young resigned earlier this year. His first day on the job will be next Tuesday, September 2 ^nd . Chris is not completely new to MTAS. Some of you may remember that he served in an intern capacity with MTAS in late 2009 and early 2010. In fact, he was involved with the Benchmarking program then. Chris holds a B.A. in Political Science and Masters in Public Administration from UT-Knoxville and will be awarded a Ph.D. in Political Science in December.

Frances is completing an orientation schedule for Chris, so you’ll have the opportunity to meet him (maybe, again) soon.
