I was on vacation when I would normally do a Staff Update so this will suffice.

1. Remember the deadline to make nominations for the IPS awards program is August 15 (that's a Sunday - so the effective deadline is this Friday). There is a Notes database to make the nominations (see Mary Taylor's e-mail or check with Lisa if you can't find it). You may nominate either exempt or nonexempt staff either as "rookies" (less than three years) or as experienced (more than three years).

2. Please mark these staff meetings on your calendar. Each staff meeting will begin at 9:30 and finish at 11:00.
JACKSON - Thursday, September 16; Tuesday, October 5; Wednesday, November 3; Thursday, January 13, 2000
NASHVILLE - Wednesday, September 15; Wednesday, October 6; Tuesday, November 2; Wednesday, January 12, 2000.
KNOXVILLE - Tuesday, September 14; Thursday, October 7; Monday, November 1; Tuesday, January 11, 2000.
