Notes and Project Tracking Update
Project Reporting = We are getting ready to convert from the Rbase version of Project Tracking to the Notes based "Project Reporting". We felt it important to change the name. A test group (Ken, Todd, MikeT, Rex, Ray and Al) will start using the new version June 12. Everyone else will start using it July 17.
To help convert from the old system we need you to: 1) Close out all projects on the Project Tracking system as of June 30th., 2) Manually keep time reports on the various projects you are working on between July 1 and July 14th., 3) Enter all your time reports and any projects you need to reopen on July 17th on Project Reporting (Notes database). Any questions, contact Sally? Also, we will no longer report administrative time. We'll have more details on what NOT to do later.
Notes Installation = JimF will have completed training everyone the first time by tomorrow. EXCEPT for Dick and Mike who won't have Notes access until early in July. We need to install a network to give them access to all the databases and that is half done so far. The wires have been run, the server has been purchased, but we don't have the Novell network software yet. It won't arrive until early in July.
If you would like to keep up with the planning that is going on with Notes, then you could open the icon for the Notes Group Meeting Tracking. You could place it in you Discussion DB folder.
