MPA Interns - We have four interns from the UTK Master of Public Administration program starting today. Three for cities and one for MTAS. The term is from May 14 until August 17.

Cara Howe will work for MTAS in our Knoxville office. She will be helping me with some administrative projects and will be available to help consultants with city projects. Get your requests in early. Cara has a BA with honors in political science from UT Knoxville.

Wade Tosh will be the Hensley Intern in Maryville. This is named for the recently retired long serving city manager of Maryville - Gary Hensley. Tom Looney, IPS and Roger Campbell, ACM in Maryville have raised over $200,000 in donations to support this internship each year. Wade has an Associate of Arts degree in Public Administration from Pellissippi State Community College, and a BA ( cum laude) in Political Science from UTK.

Matthew Watson will be interning with Morristown. He is enrolled in the dual JD/MPA at UTK. Matthew has a BA in Political Science with honors from UTK.

Lara Kuhnert will be interning in Sevierville. She has a BA ( summa cum laude) in political science from UTK.
