Brett Ward - Welcome to Brett Ward who started as Wastewater Operations Specialist in the Knoxville office on Monday, April 15. Brett's last position was as chief operator for the Sweetwater wastewater plant. He is a UT graduate with an agriculture degree. Brett's position is part of the annual contract we have with Construction Grants & Loans.

New Tenants - Somehow Sally keeps finding places to put all the people I■ve agreed to locate in Knoxville. The CGT field consultant for east Tennessee, Paula Mealka, and a student assistant, Chris Hensley, moved in on Monday, April 15. Pat Davis, Tom Ballard, and I thought we could work together better if we were a little closer together.

Help - Each year President Joe Johnson prepares an annual report to the Board of Trustees. This year he has selected five main topics and I've been asked by IPS to prepare two anecdotal examples of our projects for submission. The five areas are: better environment , better health care , better K-12 teachers , safer roads , enhanced economic development (the area of our five year plan under community and economic competitiveness). Please check the ones that might apply to your work and give me a couple of suggestions. Thanks.
