Finances - With Nancy and Jean transferring to other campus departments, you may be wondering where to send your financial paperwork. Send it all to Tess. We've advertised for Jean's position, but until it's filled, Tess and I (mainly Tess) will keep things going financially. Actually, we'll have some help. Bill will step in to prepare the monthly reports. We've asked Laura Smith to work two days a week to help us with finances. Laura used to work for MTAS in the office before she completed her MPA. Since then, she was business manager with LEIC and worked for Ron Loewen in the IPS central office. Laura will help with some of the budgeting, but will also help Tess with what is rapidly becoming a very full in-basket.

Front Desk - You may hear a new voice when you call the Knoxville office. Kelly Colbert started this morning. Kelly is originally from Cleveland and has a degree from UTK in speech communication. She's working with us from the UT temporary help pool. Kelly is going to pick up some of Yana's duties as Yana works more with training as we prepare for Lisa Murray's departure.
