IIMC News Digest - Kurt and MTAS are featured in the April 2004 issue of the magazine of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC). It is mailed to all 10,000 members in the USA and Canada. Not only is the cover a great picture of the Hill on campus but inside is a two page article explaining how MTAS is now providing the TAMCAR institute with training twice a year. There's also a great picture of Kurt on page 4 (but you'll have to ask him to see his copy). Congratulations to Kurt and the training team working with TAMCAR.

On tap - This is the magazine of the National Drinking Water Clearinghouse published four times a year and mailed to water operators all around the country. We didn't get a picture, but there is a long quote from our own water expert, Steve, about the potential for losses in a water system. Congratulations to Steve.

Training Marathon Man - And if we gave training marathon awards, Steve would surely receive one. We think he is the first consultant to have taught in the MAP (Municipal Administration Program - our traditional statewide courses), the EOA (Elected Officials Academy), the MMA (Municipal Management Academy - our new program for city department heads and supervisors), and several separate technical classes (on homeland security for water plants, and on well drilling). That's a lot of different types of training. Of course, if we were giving marathon training awards, Rex, Ray, Rick, and Jim would be close on Steve's heals.
