Cell Phone Discounts - If you have Verizon, Sprint (Nextel), or Cingular service, here's a way to save. You may have to be a little persistent using the web sites, but it's worth the effort. UT Telephone Services has negotiated the discounts. (This applies to your personal cell phone(s). The few UT phones we still have on the Cingular contract will stay at the same price.)

Telephone Services would like to pass along information related to discounts offered on cellular service to UT Employees. These discounts apply to new service as well as existing customers. Instructions of how to obtain the discounts from the various vendors are included in this document.

Cingular

Cingular offers discounts to State of Tennessee and UT Employees. You will receive 15% off your monthly recurring charges, 25% off accessories and the service activation fee waived with new lines of service.

The Foundation Account Number is required to register for discounts. The account number for UT Employees is 2386605.
