After a delay, the university is now proceeding with the purchase of the University Avenue property. Although I have no definite timetable for the move, IPS, MTAS and the Knoxville regional offices for CTAS and CIS will be relocating to this facility.
Once the sale is final, we will have access to the building in order to determine where offices and conference rooms will be located. UT will paint the facility and make any structural changes that we request.
Assistant Vice President Steve Thompson is the designated manager for this project and will be meeting with team leaders to discuss the impending relocation. As a reminder, here is a list of teams and team members:
