Specialty Listing - Allie has modified the MTAS personnel database to include several views that list the specialties for each consultant along with the organizations supported. MTAS Personnel Here's a link to it. All the new views are listed under consultant at the top.

MTAS advisory committee meetings - We have set the dates for our Spring meetings. All the meetings start at 11:30 with lunch and finish by 2:00.

Tuesday March 28 - Knoxville - room 403 conference center
Wednesday March 29 - Nashville - TML conference room ground floor
Thursday March 30 - Jackson - Baudo's Restaurant

We have room for everyone who wants to attend in Jackson (the restaurant is very accommodating). We have room for about four consultants in Knoxville and Nashville. Please let SharonM know if you can attend.

Annual Performance Reviews - Now that we have completed all the interviews, we need to finish our changes on the forms and get them signed. Let me say that I was very encouraged by everyone's cooperation with our tight time frame in doing the interviews and particularly encouraged and excited by the ambitious work plans that everyone has prepared for 2000. It's going to be a good year.

Elected Officials Academy - The first class of our elected officials academy will graduate Saturday, February 26 at the Columbia City Hall. We have had 23 officials participate in a Saturday morning program. They have come to one of their city halls for five Saturday mornings to hear from various MTAS experts. Sally coordinated the entire program for MTAS and it is in Kirk's territory so, in addition to teaching several sessions, he helped each Saturday. It was an overwhelming success that you will read about some more in TT&C and in Sally's monthly report.

Staff Meetings - We have staff meetings scheduled in Jackson - March 7; Nashville - March 8; and Knoxville - March 9. The agenda will be devoted to project reporting - - so if you don't do project reporting you don't need to attend. We'll have a draft set of new reporting guidelines that I want to discuss with all consultants.
