I hope everyone is having a great and productive week!

About a week and a half ago, our first strategic plan implementation teams met in Murfreesboro. Over the course of two days we put together detailed implementation plans for four of our goals.

I wanted to share with you a brief update about our work and action you should begin to see and hear about. Some key messages include:

· We are moving on with our plan and on target with an aggressive timeline.
· We developed four work plans that will be completed by July 13.
· On March 13, we will officially launch the strategic plan among our internal and external stakeholders.
· We added new members to our strategic planning process as we formed implementation teams.
· We will continue to add more employees as the plan moves forward; employees need to be prepared to be involved.
· We look forward to support from other agency employees as we pursue our micro-goals.
· The voice of employees has been important during the process and will continue to be as we pursue our micro-goals.

We expect to complete the work on at least five of our goals by the time we are together in August for our IPS Annual Conference. You can expect some reports there on progress.

Also, at our leadership team meeting earlier today, we committed to monthly reports on our progress as we proceed with implementation.

The work of our implementation teams is exciting to see. I’m grateful for all of the work, effort, and investment that each team member is making to help us progress. As you have questions, any of us would welcome an opportunity to share more information with you on the work.
