Important Notice Regarding "m-Coli Blue" Test for e-Coli (posted 6/12/09)
The HACH Company has announced that their m-coli blue test is now available for use in wastewater and water applications.
When using m-coli blue broth, be sure to use one of the following absorbent pads: Pall cellulose pad, Gellman, or Sartorius cellulose or glass pad.
m-Coli blue broth that is still within the manufacturer's expiration date may still be used.

There are two other "40 CFR 136" approved methods for e-coli testing. The "Indexx" method and the "modified M-TEC" method.
